Hi there

I planted "Furio" in a trough and then forgot all about them. They have turned into small silverskin type onions. Is it possible to pickel them, as I would hate to loose them. Any suggestions greatly welcome. :)

Have the top leaves died down? If so they should pickle ok. Or marinate and skewer with meat and peppers and barbeque.

Hi Nature's Babe :)

Yip they have died down. If I was going to pickel them do you know of a recipie I could use. Also do I need to take them in and dry out first, before pickeling :?:

Hi Fair weather, here is a link which will help you to pickle them as you prefer them, if you like them crisp dry salt them and put vinegar on cold - if you like them soft wet brine and put vinegar on hot.
