Many thanks for all your good wishes. I am so pleased to receive so many good wishes, but that is what happens on this lovely website. We have just got back from our meal, we went out early. Our meal and wine were fab. My daughter and grand daughter turned up with a present and cards after school and my son eventually rang and eventually dropped a card off when we were out. He's been too busy to remember!!!

I am now enjoying a nice glass of wine and in my pj's (too much information) watching Sky. A lovely end to a difficult start of the day.

My friend's dog had to have a leg amputated yesterday after a fall and complications, so a very upsetting start to the day as he is a really fabulous dog.

It's now gone midnight, so happy un-birthday, Catherine!
