I have 2 fig trees in containers. Both watered and fed the same and in the same position. One is fine the other is now looking a bit droopy and has started to get yellow leaves. These are new fig trees that havent fruited yet :(

Wondering what soil or compost is in your containers Polly, and what sort of position, do they get sun for most of the day ? I think they get most of their nutrition from shallow top roots, maybe try a nutrient rich mulch and some grass clippings over that to hold the moisture. Sunny days dry out containers quite quickly. I think they can be subject to rust so might be a good idea to check for rust on leaves.

Another thought Polly is could be over-watering causing the yellow leaves. I wouldn't feed either till they come into fruit then I am not sure if they need it. I had one in a pot and it never got fed. They seem to be very unfussy trees to grow. Now passed on to another allotment holder as I have one growing and producing superbly on the plot.
