Several years ago I inhereted 4 potted pear trees, the varieties I believe are 'Buerre Hardy' and 'Comice'; two of which flowerd earlier in the year. I've now inspected all 4, and all are showing signs of new growth one would expect in spring; one which flowered earlier now has 3 flower buds almost ready to open
The trees are at two seperate locations 5 miles apart (east Carmarthenshire), all around 4' tall, have had regular watering and mulching. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

Hi Maninaskirt, my pear tree flowered in spring and last month flowered at the tips again so there are two crops of pears at different stage of development now, some almost ripe and other quite small fruits, lets hope we get an indian summer!
Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.
