Am growing some of these for the first time this year and notice that all three plants developed two forked stems at an early stage. As all of them were growing healthily I haven't removed them but wonder if this is a characteristic of this variety?

I get this on other toms as well, Primrose, and I have given up taking one of the forks out. I just put in another stake and grow three trusses on each fork. No infeeriority of quality.

Primrose,I have been growing Black Cherry for about three years now,and have had this problem(if you could call it a problem) on some plants, but I do as Mike says and so far I have had quite heavy crops on the forked ones, taste and quality every bit as good as the others.
