i grow 6 tomatoes plant in pots and move to outdoor, but i made a clear plastic cover up (sort of green house ), they all looked healthy , and every day i enjoy be with them, watering and give them tomatoes feed once a week , few days ago i gave them some "organic fertilizer"(made of liquid from wilted fruits) . one tomato plant turned to brown from top to bottom with no life signal, sadly i cut it down. A tomato plant grows yellowish. i show you some pics about. touch wood 4 of the other look ok. could anyone please give advice.

I'm wondering whether lack of ventilation could have caused this, or perhaps the plants didn't like your "organic fertiliser". It's possible that the wilted fruits had some disease in them and the liquid has transferred it to your plants.
You are probably better off using a branded liquid fertiliser like Tomorite.
You don't say what size pots your tomatoes are in. They can grow deep roots and it's possible that the pots are too small, the compost has used up all its nourishment and this is what's causing your plants to look a little sickly.

i recycle the paint bin have a few hole on the bottom, to grow the tomatoes and i do use tomato feed and tomato compost bought from wilkinson.

Since you mention a paint tin as your growing container, it's possible that there is some toxic element remaining from the paint or rust from the tin as a result of wet compost that could be causing the problem. However, if this is the case and all the plants are in the same containers I would expect them all to be showing the same signs of distress.

We have had tomatoes from the same sowing growing in the greenhouse on our plot in large pots of multi-purpose compost which are really sorry looking and hardly growing at all. In our garden greenhouse we are using the ring culture method and large growbags and these plants are really strong and healthy.

The only real difference seems to be the compost!

I've been very unhappy with the last couple of bags of Levington's seed compost I've had and my seedlings have not germinate well or thrived in it. I'm now using the compost from Growbags for later sowings of seeds and for some reason this is giving me a much better result.
