Ten years ago today we left Leeds, where we had lived for 40 years, and set up home in North-west Wales. Never a moment's regret :D :D

And the weather today is exactly what it was 10 years ago - cloudless sky, hot and sunny.

Congratulations on your anniversary.

All the best, Alan, for another 10, 20, 30 .... years! May the sun continue to shine with a bit of warm rain thrown in overnight.

Good morning Alan, sorry I am a bit slow reading these posts these days, I dont know where the time goes. Congratulations on your anniversary, I wish we could do the same. but OH's job, at the moment, does not allow it, never mind may be in a couple of years..... I love Wales and have had many a good holiday there both as a child and a grown up :!:

Another anniversary tomorrow. Exactly eight weeks after moving here our peaceful river rose from a trickle to a raging torrent in the space of a couple of hours. The cause was a massive thunder storm which dumped several feet of hailstones on a small area. The actual river bed is about fifteen feet down beyond the two poles.

Needless to say, it's raining again today - and we just heard an ominous clap of thunder :( :(

You needn't have blown the thunder and lightning up this way. Wet weather job is boxing in and insulating the water tanks in the loft so I could have done without the rumblings and the lights flashing while I was up there.

Geoff

At least it saves on the 'letrig

We did send the t and l your way, but we have hung onto some of the rain :( :(

I seem to recall some time back suggesting that your hosepipe ban would be a signal for rain, rain, rain :( :( :(
