Hi everyone

I've been away for ages and still don't have much time to catch up, but hello to the regulars - and friendly newbies of course!
And congratulations to Chantal & Tigger on their recent appointments.

Anyway, on with my question

Is anybody else having problems receiving their subscribed copies of TKG mag?

I renewed my subscription online in January but didn't receive Feb issue, so phoned up. Was sent replacement.
March issue didn't turn up either, so wrote an e-mail and received a replacement.
Guess what? Also haven't received April issue (or May but I'm not sure that's due yet). Phoned them yesterday and I'm assured (by the slightly irritated lady) that I'm on their subscribers list - she said there must be a problem with our postal service. Funny though that the other post gets through and that our postal sevice should apparently lose 3 (maybe 4) issues of TKG in a row, but still deliver the replacements. A garden-mad postie perhaps who thinks one issue per month is enough??
I await May's issue with bated breath.

Anybody else got similar problems?

Hi GG and welcome back. How are you?

I've had no problems with mine but a few of the others had. As far as I know they all got sorted out but they'll be able to help you more.

I have had problems, but I know it is the post and not KG as other stuff has gone missing too, not all my post just some of it. It has been very frustrating because I really don't know what hasn't got here, except for things like KG which are on subscription. KG gets sent out to me and the PO return it to them marked 'gone away'.

The really irritating thing is having complained to the PO things did not improve, so I phoned again, when the operator said she would now refer it to the complaints section. In other words they didn't do anything at all the first time I told them of the problem . And they've now sent me a letter suggesting that I didn't get one bit of post when I have told them about five or six. Including a cheque for (to me) a lot of money. So I am not at all confident that the problem is sorted.

Thanks for your welcome back Lizzie - though it was a flying visit as I immediately disappeared for a week! Anyway should be around for a few days now. I'm well but the garden is a bit neglected! Only just started sowing stuff...

Anyway, back to the post and subscription problem - I got back from my travels last night to TA-DA! May's copy of TKG. Hooray! BUT.... They still haven't sent me April's copy, which I am still missing. Looks like another phone call to the Irritated Woman. At least hopefully I'm on track now for future issues!

Looks like another great copy too. I leave mine for a Sunday morning read in my pit with a nice cup of tea!!!
