Potatoes seem to be doing really well except for yesterday when I was having a look at one cluster of flower-buds.

I held them gently in my hand to look at them and they all 'pinged' off. I have done the same with other flowers buds on the potatoes and they didn't fall off.

The flowers haven't flowered yet.

Am I over/under-watering? Should I be feeding them?

In my experience that's potatoes for you. I wouldn't worry.

Thanks Alan. I thought I'd ruined my chances of potatoes. Having nurtured these potatoes right from chitting back in January, I would be a tad upset. I'm not going to touch them again!
