I've received my first Blight Alert for the CV22 area from Blightwatch UK. The last two days were so humid we've had our first Full Smith Period, so I guess blight is imminent
I've been out and stocked up on Bordeaux Mixture

Sitting waiting for me this afternoon. Potatoes now sprayed along with tomatoes closest to them. The rest of the toms will have to wait.
My packet of Bordeaux Mixture suggests that while Potato Blight can begin about now, Tomato Blight is around the end of July.
I don't intend to leave it that late, but can the toms wait until the weekend?

They can wait for some time yet - Smith period only means warm and humid (which it definitely isn't here today) not that there is any blight about. No confirmed cases yet only a suspected in Elgin.

That is what we have here, hence my concern.

We've just had another "near miss" period. Finger's crossed and sprayer on standby.

iIve got some packets of Dithane which I use for anti blight spraying, which are two years old. Do you think they'll still be OK to use? They've been stored in a dry garage.
