Bargain at Blooms?

Called in at the local Blooms Garden Centre today and noticed that they were offering plots of land of about 90 square metres for five pounds a week, two hundred and sixty pounds a year. The plot is prepared and ready to go,with a composter and access to water. For an extra fiver a week a greenhouse and shed with a water butt is provided and is rabbit proofed, and a whole load of freebies and discounted goodies thrown in.
To me it is an awful lot of money to pay out for a small amount of ground and feel that they are trying to cash in on those who want a plot of land in which to grow their own.

Dear Snooky, that sounds the same deal as Wyevale garden centres are doing, maybe the two companies are linked.

I only have my garden to grow in. That doesn't sound expensive to me.

Blooms/Wyevale rent equates to a rent for a standard allotment of £866 per year. Bet that'd get the waiting lists down
