Hi Guys,

I wanted you to be the first to know that very soon we will be launching our new-look website and we very much hope you will like it.

The first thing to say is 'don't panic', many of the same features you enjoy on the current site will also be found on the new one, but we hope that as well as a fresher, modern look, the new site will offer a more user friendly and easier to navigate format. The forum will be transferred in its entirety - all the existing threads will be there and you will not need to change the way you use it/log on etc in any way.

Deputy ed Emma (Lady Lettuce) and I will be much more closely involved with site content, so if there is anything you'd like to added (or taken away), don't hesitate to let either myself or Emma know, either through the forum or by sending us a PM and we will work with our trusty admin team (who will still be doing the clever technical bits in the background), to change things that can be changed and to accommodate your ideas.

Emma is particularly looking forward to being more involved with the site and to getting to know you better (behave yourself Old Herbaceous!). :D

How exciting, i must say, it will be rather pleasant knowing that both of you will be more involved.

And i will be very well behaved, just as normal. :)

May i just ask how soon is soon, Captain Carrot, as i need to make plans. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Don't seem to be able to apply for giveaways at the moment, is that a rebuild symptom?

Old Herbaceous misbehave? The very thought!

Strikes me the badly behaved at the moment are the ladies posting priapic parsnip pics

I posted a reply to this yesterday but it didn't appear and it wasn't rude - maybe I've been banned now 'cos of the photo!

I just mentioned that posting a photo of a vegetable was hardly misbehaving! I NEVER behave badly - well not so as I'm found out anyway!

HI all,

Firstly the errors on competitions page WAS due to the rebuild - and should be working OK again now.
(The entries are working, it was the 'thanks' page that had gone astray!)

gallotments - Are you getting an error on the main (old) website? The contact form doe a basic check for naughty words, but does also attempt to stop automated spam messages - and checks for 'http://' within the message. If you tried to contact us with a web address - miss this bit out.

New site will be live today!!

UPDATE
The forum may briefly go down whilst we move sites - so bear with us!

No I didn't get an error message and I didn't use a naughty word honest - I don't know any naughty words!

I thin it is something that happens if two people try to post a message at the same time - maybe Mouse and I collided!

Awwww :P Poor Mouse.

Not sure what's happened to your avatar too :(
(or is it just me that can't see some?)

At least everything else is working - and now we have a navigation bar at the top of the forum page to help you switch between the site areas.

I wondered if you were blacklisting me!

Anyway, I've managed to upload another avatar now.
I did think of using a nice picture of a parsnip instead, but decided I'd better behave myself! :?

My avatar disappeared (maybe KG admin were trying to get rid of me :? ) so I decided to upload another.

But I must admit, I haven't been feeling like myself since then!
