Belated one to you both too. Sorry, I wasn't on here yesterday, I was in London, where I saw only 4 flags (on BT vans) and that was it. I wore a red rose, as I usually do, but there was nothing to mark the day that I saw, despite Clinton's Cards having a window full of St George's Day goods for sale.
In Rugby, there was a big celebration again, with roads closed from 10-4 and events all day. The whole place is festooned with bunting and most of the shops have different patriotic displays.
In London on St Patrick's Day, I was having to fight my way past hundreds of Guinness leprechauns in Leicester Square and you couldn't turn around without seeing an Irish flag.

Coming home on the Great Cambridge Road (A10) in Enfield I saw a Land Rover Defender 110 station wagon with a roof rack, which had so many flags tied on, the LR looked more like a yacht!
