Rabbit straw on compost heap

Morning JoJoB, as long as the sraw has started to break down and mixes easily with the other compost it will be fine.
What length of time is a job to say, as open heaps or compost bins all take different times to rot, as does what goes into the compost heap.
But a very rough guide, i would leave it six months in the Winter and maybe as short as three months in theSummer.

I was wondering whether to do this, but I only have a smallish "dalek" composter & decided against it as it would fill it too quickly. I do put the "toilet corner" contents into the composter sometimes. Is this Ok?
