Beautiful Day

We're having a lovely warm sunny day down here and it feels like spring has sprung.

Just been walking around the garden watching the bees. The apricot tree is covered with flowers and I counted 4 different types of bee buzzing around - 2 different types of honeybee, little red mason bees and bumbles. And they just love the red dead nettles and dandelions, so much so that I don't want to cut the grass (well that's my excuse anyway  )

Hope you're all full of the joys of spring too!!

Had to double check I was reading your post on the right day Goldilox.
Its dreadful here in Gosport - piddling down, overcast. misty you name it we have it.
I've been out to buy some pots of daffs to cheer myself up. Will plant them over the lottie when the rain stops.
Send us some sunshine please.

Beryl.

Doing a bit of tinkering with the big cylinder mower today...outside the shed in the sunshine. :) ....I seem to have left this mowers servicing rather late again.
...My theory/excuse being that the first couple of cuts are the ones that are the roughest to the mower...perhaps the other reality is that it's a filthy mucky job and I would rather be doing something gardening wise on such a lovely day.

I did escape for a while and set 4 short rows of Lady Christl Potatoes..the ground went down really well. :)

..and at lunchtime I saw a Brimstone butterfly go fluttering by.. :)
