Will these hyacynths flower

I bought a bag of hyacynth bulbs from a market stall today (10 for a £1) They were beginning to show a tiny shoot. I know it's completely the wrong time to plant them but are they likely to flower this year? The few I've already got growing in the garden have barely put their heads above the earth yet so am wondering whether there's a vague chance they will display any blooms.

Dear Primrose, the flower bud should be waiting in the bulb ready to burst into life, unless the bulbs have dried right out.

No the bulbs haven't dried out and still looked in good condition, so maybe I'll be lucky and get at few flowers from them.
