Sow's ear to silk purse . . . ?

Thanks all for your advise on sowing seeds, I will hold off for another couple or three weeks?
However we had the problem last year of 'half a green house'. Sacrilege I know, so, I set to and I now have 'nearly a whole green house'
Last years 'Sow's ear':

To the present 'Silk purse':

You probably remember last years 'before' picture, made you all cringe, what a wast
Still a wast I suppose cos there is nothing growing in it yet. Give me time, and advise, I'm new to all this 'dirt under the finger nails' malarkey?
I'm looking forward to growing a few old variety Toms and Cucumber (with flavour)? . . . as something different. I have some Cabbage (greyhound) and Purple Broccoli seeds (no idea what name). I presume they can be sown any time now in the green house?
