I've read an article in the Scottish Sunday Post all about a product from Germany which is a fertiliser that controls club root, i'ts called Perlka.It was used extensively in the 30s to 50s before synthetic products came along, but they have returned to it because of i'ts advantageous side effects and concerns about modern chemicals. Basically it is Calcium cyanimide a combination off limestone, coal and atmospheric nitrogen produced in high temperature kilns in Bavaria. Unfortunately the article does not give a web site but does say it is mail order only and for more information phone 01473 830081.
Just thought I would let you all know in case you have a bad case of clubroot and you are loosing hope.

That grabbed my interest as I have club root and have limited sucess though have found a calabrese and sprout that tolerate it OK.

The listed ingredients go along with the idea that liming helps recduce the problem, I may well try a bag this year!
