I have tried to obtain Shirley seed by any seed suplier. but to no avail.
This year non of the usual sources seem to have them . Is there a reason for this and do others find the same. If I am not able to get them how would Moneymaker or Alicante do as a substitute .I realise they are not F1 varieties but would either give me a good tasty crop. as I have always done well with Shirley I would like to keep up the same standard of quality and taste.

I got mine from my local garden center.

I think they were Mr Fothergills but 11 out of 12 seeds I put in last weekend are just about ready for pricking into pots.

Cheers
