carrots!

Need to know the best time to plant?

I'm soooo excited! some carrot seeds I put in a trough in my unheated mini greenhouse a month a go and had given up on have just all peeped through the soil! It was probably a bit early to do that but I'm a beginner and got a bit impatient!

Mine have not been in long but when they dont show I tend to scrape back the soil and peep, which is not always the best thing to do!!
If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

I start a few post off before Christmas and they are close to picking as baby caarots.

I then start a couple of pots of every 3 weeks but I have the advantage of artificial light to bring them on:

Just picked some carrots,(early nantes) which according to my label were sown 9th September last year & have over wintered in my unheated greenhouse...Its cheered me up! :D
