Try this light hearted way of spending a few moments when it's too wet to get outside and garden.

I still haven't fathomed it out! Must have another go when I am fresh in the morning!
I heard a frog croaking in our garden pond a few days ago, by the way.

Dear Elaine, you must sometimes move a frog into an empty space and also swap from one side to another.
See how you get on now.
But i will be more than happy to P.M you if need be.

Hi Elaine
I hope OH's solution is simpler than the one I found.
If you want to keep trying, don't press CLICK
If you are stumped and have an hour or two to spare CLICK

Dear OH......That red dot in the night sky was my laptop going into orbit.

I don't know how many times I tried but I still didn't figure it out .
Dear Alan. Thank you! I got the damn frogs to swap places, following those diagrams on your link thingy......mind, I had to write 'em down....
Remind me not to try these sort of puzzles again.....they don't do me (or my laptop) any good at all!!
Cheers!
....going for a lie down now....

I tried, I really did, but now I'm losing the will to live. No wonder I cant sleep, I have just read the instructions on the Thinking Applied.com link which Allan kindly supplied. Then I knew I was lost.

I too will have to have another go when I am a little brighter.

when ever that will be.

Dear Elaine, i must have just got lucky when i found the way to complete it then.
Are you still trying to prise the keys back up on your keyboard, i can imagine they took quite a bashing while you were trying to complete the task.

I've done it! I've done it!
(Copied the diagram from Alan's explanation first and followed that - so it was all done by cheating!)

Dear OH. Well, once my laptop came back down from orbiting the planet, the keys were miraculously ok!
Monika, I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!
Cheers!

Sorry folks. It was meant to be a little fun, not to give you all nervous breakdowns!
I did manage to do it once quite by accident but having revisited it, am darned if I've been able to do it again. Still I've got plenty of time on my hands to get it right as we have six inches of snow here this morning and I won't be going anywhere.

Ok, own up - who's changed it?
I had a go earlier in the week and after a few attempts, had it solved. Simples!
Feeling a bit bored this morning I went back for another go (ok, maybe to show off because son no 2 was hanging around!), and still hadn't done it by the time said son got sick of watching and pushed me out of the way!
I felt a bit better after watching him struggle for just as long, before finally we worked it out together. But I could swear some b*****r had altered it since the first time I did it!

Dear Bert the mouse, there is more than one way to do it.
Here is my easy way to do it.
You always count from the left hand side, and F=frog R=rock.
F3 TO R4
F4 TO R3
F5 TO R5
F4 TO R6
F2 TO R4
F1 TO R2
F3 TO R1
F4 TO R3
F6 TO R5
F6 TO R7
F4 TO R6
F2 TO R4
F2 TO R2
F4 TO R3
F4 TO R5
And there you are.
