Anybody watch last night's The Restaurant?

The whole show has been a joke. It seemed obvious from the start who Raymond Blanc was pushing to win. It wasn't a competition at all. It wasn't just the final episode that the winners flunked. Their cookery class was empty and they didn't managed to sell takeaway meals etc etc. If the competition was based on blagging it - then why set the tasks that they did?

We only really stuck with it as we couldn't believe Raymond could possibly choose the two that he did and thought that he just kept them on for the 'entertainment value'of their cock-ups.

We will not be watching any more series - if there are any - as it just made us angry!

Glallotments we have always watched the restaurant and up to this series thoroughly enjoyed it ,however like you this one was a joke .We didn't watch last night as there seemed little point which of the two finalists won.The two bar guys were obviously good at hospitality butcooking and while the other guy didn't seem to be a bad chef his partner was rude, lazy and completely obnoxious Shame another good idea has comprimised it's quality to jump on the "good tele"bandwagon.We won't be watching the next series

The guy who was obnoxious really seemed to take on the criticisms about this and was a different person last night which was a shame as it was all for nothing.
