Hi folks. For the first time, this year I'm trying Tundra. Some have now 'hearted up', but the majority haven't. Can I expect that these too will heart up ? I suspect that if they haven't by now, then they wont.
Cheers...freddy.

Evening freddy, Tundra are certainly a good hardy variety, so as long as they look healthy enough i would leave them for another month to see if they start to heart up at all.
Thats unless you desperately need the ground.

Hi there OH, thanks for the reply. They do look healthy enough to my eyes, I think I probably got them in a bit late. I don't need the ground until next spring, so no probs on that score.
Cheers...freddy.

Hello Freddy
I would leave them in the ground as they will keep on growing as long as the weather stays mild. If they don't heart up they will still make good winter greens eventually.
