I was chatting with a fellow allotment holder, and we were chatting about seeds, and a seed company that we remembered was HURST SEEDS.
The packs were black, with the logo red. we have not seen the hurst seeds company since the early 1990s. Can anyone remember them?

According to Google, they still exist in Cambridge, GCS. Perhaps they don't do retail, that's why their seeds are no longer in the shops.

I wonder if the pea variety Hurst Greenshaft was bred by them?
