A new venture for us this year (Gosport Allotment Holders).
Very successful day but I should have known better. I entered my Damson cheese in the 'jam and jelly' section and was disqualified.
Got first prize for my sponge cake though so that made up for it and a first for Gooseberry chutney. Wish I could get the hang of uploading photos there was some lovely pumpkins carved.
couple on my web site if you would like to see.

Dear Beryl, congratulations on getting first prize for your sponge cake and your gooseberry chutney, good try for the damson cheese.

Loved the photos, especially the carved pumpkin trug, simple but clever.

I'm quite partial to a nice, big, slice of award winning sponge cake. :)

In the reply area try scrolling down to where it asks you to attach a file and attach your photo. It's the way that works for me best. Trying to add a photo the way you are supposed to seems to be very hit and miss - sometimes people only see the photo some of the time and not others and at other times you just get a red cross.

Dear Beryl, if Robert The Bruce were to see your efforts, he would be very proud of you, just as we are. :)
