I was one of the 3 fortunate winners of the Eazitools set ( 4 items) from July's edition, valued at £150. However, getting my hands on the prize was less than eazi. Having chased KG (Morton's) I was getting nowhere and I was less than impressed. In the end I had to approach the company direct, who initally offered me half the prize shown in the magazine. To be fair to Eazitools, when I pointed out that I was in fact the winner of four of their products, not two, they sent me the complete set without quibble and they arrived the following day (yesterday). I thought hard about posting this but was concerned that if I had to force the issue, then may be others who had won KG competitons have had the same problem. In respect of the Eazitools prizes, if the other two winners are still waiting and read this, don't wait for KG to sort it out, go to the company direct.

Dear Toffeeman, i think you have done the right thing.
I would think if there is a problem like this going on, they need to know, before they get too many unhappy customers.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi Toffeeman
Really sorry to learn of the difficulty you have experienced in obtaining your prize and even more regretful for the problems experienced in resolving the issue.
It always sounds like a cop out I know but we have genuinely had problems with staff illness recently. I know that the person who deals with our competition entries has been off poorly for some weeks, but is now back at her desk and I am confident that normal service will now be resumed.
I also wanted to say that if you or anyone else reading this has any issues or wants to query anything in the mag thay can always contact me direct and I will do my best to answer their questions/sort things out as quickly as possible. It's the usual address - sott@mortons.co.uk. You can also contact deputy ed Emma - erawlings@mortons.co.uk
Hope you enjoy your prizes now that you have received them!

Also on the theme of Co:s. For years I have bought "COPDOCK MILLS" wild bird seed, with no complaint, the last bag ,I think they swept up the warehouse floor and bagged it, emailed them, I rather suspect it is company policy not to reply to emails, no problems on my part, I will just find another supplier.
