Ok, this is an unashamed plug for my daughter's first published book. I hope the Forum Administrators will forgive this indulgence (since many recipes were tested using produce from our own allotment :) ).

You can get it online here:
http://www.authorhouse.co.uk/Bookstore/ ... okid=49169

You can find out more about it here:
http://www.mangosoup.blogspot.com/

As someone who's only slightly biased, I can confirm that you will have lots of fun trying these out and that they will tickle your tastebuds too. If anyone has any questions or needs further info, please let me know.

Dear Colin, i'm sure the administrators will turn a blind eye, especially as you are a long standing, helpful and useful contributor to the forum.

And i'm sure they would hate to see subscriptions to the magazine falling. :)

Please pass my best wishes on to Jenni, for great success with this book and maybe many more to come.

Congrats to Jenni - looks interesting so might be a hint out around
Xmas time, although I have so many cookbooks might not hint at
hubby - it might just find its way home mysteriously like many of
the others

She is so pretty as well might be the start of something big on the
tele. Maybe KG could have a look and she could contribute to an
issue - definately got providence and credibility if using your vegetables.

Hi Colin
Good luck to her. Vegie too - excellent. Looking through the website, I like the sound of Sesame Beetroot, so I may just have to get the book!

Hi Colin, Never mind the plug, I've been looking for the book to come out since seeing the interesting and very good recipes on her blog.

I even tried a slightly modified version of the courgette ice lollies made into ice cream. I served it up as secret pistachio ice cream and everyone thought it was great.

I hope she does very well and thank you for telling us about it.

Looks good, Colin.
Can you tell me why it costs £23.50 from Authorhouse but £43.69 on Amazon ?

It says for two books on Amazon no idea why - perhaps to give one away for a present.

I'm afraid Jenni had little influence over the publisher's prices and I can't explain Amazon's pricing policies.

Books are being sent out

To those of you who have ordered a copy I can confirm that they've started coming through. Mine have taken a few weeks since ordering (looks like they're printed & despatched from outside the UK).
