Pruning eucalyptus tree

I've successfully pruned my 25ft high eucalyptus tree down to the "boles" (see pic, I hope!). But what now? Do I leave it at that, or trim these knobs even more, down to the minimum size, for sprouting next year? Expert advice welcomed!
