Happy birthday Primrose.X

And thanks for posting the photo, Alan, I love primroses. I think it was Charlotte Bronte who described them as 'ground sunshine'.

Happy birthday Primrose, hope the sun shines for you.
By the way, how come you managed to hide your age? I didn't, when it was mine

Thank you all folks. Just checked in after a week away in Sussex and you know what it's like when you get back after an absence. Grass to mow, all the darned courgettes turned to marrows despite picking anything which was even a twickling in the eye before we left, beans to pick and freeze. tomatoes to be checked for blight, laundry to wash, post to open, blah, blah!
Think I'll cancel my birthday and have it tomorrow instead when I'm feeling more relaxed.

Happy Birthday, Primrose! May all your veggies thrive!

The everlasting onions you sent me some two years ago are going strong, by the way, and proved very useful, when last year's "big onions" ran out this spring.

A very happy day after birthday.

Now put you feet up and have a great day.

I don't think gardeners ever really get to put their feet up, there's always just that other little job that needs doing.

But i don't suppose we would want it any other way. :)

Well Primrose a belated birthday greeting. It is really unforgivable for me to have missed this auspicious occasion.
I do hope that you were wined and dined in the time honoured fashion last night!
My sincere apology.
JB.
