Dear OH only just been catching up on the general chatter and seen that you have been poorly.
How on earth did you get tonsillitis? I thought that was for children
(having had mine out when I was 5) Poor you I hope you are feeling a lot better now and will soon be back into the garden.

Dearest OH,
I'm now concerned, as you haven't posted anything for a few days,
.
I hope you are on the mend and back with us soon.
I'm off on my holiday from tomorrow,
I'm taking the book! and will enjoy every page, (again!)

Morning all, feeling quite a bit more like my old self this morning, what i'm very glad to say.
So thank-you all for your very kind thoughts, they have cheered me up.
I do get so annoyed with myself when i get ill, especially this time, as i had taken four days off to go out and about.
I did manage to get to Southend though, but it was quite hard work, and yes, i had plenty of icecream there Bren.
Regarding my tonsillitis being a young persons problem Catherine, it might be something to do with my boyish attitude to life why i still get it.
Hope you have the best of holidays Donedigging, i will miss you.
And lastly, thankyou for the get-well card Alan.
Nearly forgot, the sun is shining beautifully on me this morning thank-you macmac.

Good morning OH. That must be why you keep getting it
The sun is shining beautifully this morning and we are off up to a river in the Dales to do some fish tickling
with our granddaughter. Keep well.
Morning OH. So glad you're feeling better! Isn't it annoying when you become ill whilst off work!
I had my two weeks summer holiday from work a week ago and the second week was blighted with a streaming cold which cramped my style a bit, to say the least......mind the almost continuous rain didn't help either!
Cheers.
Cheers.
Happy with my lot

Dear Elaine, i hope you are feeling better too.
I know my throat is nearly there, as i'm able to eat most of the burnt cooking, cook serves up.

... and nothing at all to do with my suspicions (long maintained) that OH is only a young man masquerading as an old codger (not the Old Codger)
Glad you're feeling better OH
