The techniques of spraying for blight

Perhaps this is the best thread to ask for advice on exactly how you spray effectively for tomato blight i.e.

How often?
How heavily? (drench the leaves & fruit until they drip, or just a light misting?

If it rains very soon afterwards, do you have to repeat the process immediately for the spraying to become effective?

I'm rather working in the dark here so if anybody's an expert their advice would be greatly appreciated.

It all rather depends on which product you are using. It's not for us to say: be sure to carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions.

I can tell you this, though: you can only prevent blight, you cannot cure a plant of it once it's infected. So given the conditions we've been experiencing lately, the sooner you can apply some protection, the better.

I've posted some slightly confusing notes from the packets I have in the Diseases thread.

Hi Primrose

I've moved this thread from Technical as this is where everyone is discussing blight and it's easier to follow if everything is in the same place.
