Has anyone bought seeds from eseeds.
I placed an order on 7th Oct. and received a confirmation e-mail by return. The order wasn't delivered so I e-mailed them on 4th Nov. I didn't receive a reply so I have e-mailed them again today.
I'm wondering if this is a common occurrence with them.
Regards, Gerry.

Dear OH,
Thanks. If I don't receive a reply by tomorrow I will ring them. That is if I can find a phone number. There isn't one on the order confirmation.

Regards, Gerry.

Good evening,

I rang eSeeds.com twice on 21st Nov. The first time it was engaged and then within two minutes I was put through to their answering machine, where I left a message.

That's two e-mails and a phone message that they have ignored and no sign of my seeds.

Today I sent them a fax.

I'll keep you informed but it looks more like a scam all the time.

Regards, Gerry.

Evening OH,

Thanks for your concern but it doesn't look good. I found the following web site.

Gerry

It certainly doesn't look good - especially having seen the link you found.

I assume you ordered on line and paid with a credit card. I don't know the law in Ireland, but here in the UK you could claim your money back through the credit card company.

Best of luck

Good evening Alan,

Luckily my order was only a small one, was ordered on line and a debit card from a UK bank was used. I am under the impression that the goods had to total over £100 before you can get your money back. I'm loath to let the blighters get away with it though.

Regards, Gerry.

I hope you have resolved your problem. Perhaps a phone call to watchdog may help. I use Kings seed via our allotment club and they are very helpfull. I wanted extra seeds from thier catalogue and they sent them on trust up front and waited for me to send the money to them. Very good and they fell over themselves to help. I have never heard of the firm you used but have been tempted by some myself but you never can tell. Watchdog sounds good to me to warn others.
good luck

Another possibility, since eseeds.comare at

eSeeds.com Ltd
Blenheim House
2 Church Road
Milton under Wychwood, Oxfordshire
United Kingdom OX7 6LF

would be to contact Oxfordshire Trading Standards.

You do right to pursue them!

Good evening Lez,

On 13th Dec. I received an e-mail from e-seeds saying that my order had been shipped.

To date I have not received them.

Two messages on their answer-phone, two e-mails and a fax were all ignored. In fact in the fax I suggested that they look at "Kitchen Garden Forum" where the matter was being discussed.

Thanks for your concern. I will keep you informed.

Regards, Gerry.

Contact:

A genuine company, listed at companies house.
The site is also genuine, and carries the correct legal information.

Accounting Reference Date: 31/08
Last Accounts Made Up To: 31/08/2007 (TOTAL EXEMPTION SMALL)
Next Accounts Due: 30/06/2009
Last Return Made Up To: 13/08/2007
Next Return Due: 10/09/2008 OVERDUE

Their tax returns are overdue - but apart from that, it could just be a case of staff shortages and things lost in post.
It's a shame when a company doesn't make an effort to reply to queries, I know we've been short staffed here, but our customer services team have been working til 7pm every night to catch up and ring people back.

I would suggest writing by post, which can be seen as a more formal contact.
