Pickles

I will soon be harvesting some courgettes. Has any one got a recipe for pickling them. Are gherkins small courgettes? and do you make pickles out of them by just putting them in vinegar in a jar. Also can you pickle cucumber to store in a Jar

Gherkins are small cucumbers, NOT courgettes! They are juvenile outdoor ridge cucumbers. Try

As Sally says gherkins are cucumbers, and special small varieties at that.
Pickling is certainly
not just a matter of putting things in vinegar. Having issued that warning, here's a recipe for pickled courgettes.
