This the third time of asking?
How best to feed my green house ring growing aubergine, sweet peppers, courgettes and one melon plant?
May have been missed cos the question was buried in amongst my usual waffle

So . . . its between the eyes!!!

I can't answer that.

With a proprietory liquid feed. There's Tomorite, or Miracle Grow. Phostrogen, perhaps — anything with high levels of potash. Apply the feed to the rings, water to the surrounding soil and feed when the first fruits are starting to form, for best results.

ive got an old bath outside the tunnel, been there a few years now , gets topped up with tap water when it gets too low, also gets the occasional clump of stinging nettles, shovel of woodash,... there seem to be a few snails in there cos the shells block the watering can spout from time to time, and theres an occasional rodent floating in it, its a lovely murky brown colour ... i use it to water all my seedlings and occasionally dump some round the tomatoes etc.... totally unscientific but it seems to work.

I use SM3, a seaweed based liquid feed. I also sink bits of plastic piping into the pots or the soil and send the water +/- feed into these. As someone has observed on another thread about non-setting peppers, in pots the water can tend to seep towards the sides, leaving the centre dry below 2 inches or so.
Proprietary feeds are fine, of course, and should be used according to the instructions. What about also adding blood, fish and bonemeal as a top-dressing which will release nutrients slowly?

Thank you people, just what I was looking for, treat them like toms, and the idea of blood fish and bone as a top dressing, like that, takes me back to my Dads days on his allotment. I could have only been 6 or 7, he had this big brown bag that he dipped into and muttered about "blood fish and bone". If only he were still alive . . .
