Getting Rid Of Garden Moles

As a professional molecatcher I have visited a lot of clients suffering from mole damage. A college sports ground where a student tore a ligament in a mole tunnel, farms where listeria can be passed to sheep and cattle through silage contaminated by mole hill spoil.Up to 500 mole hills on a holiday complex-I jest not !! 19 moles caught and a happy owner.
Nearly all of my customers have tried sonic things,moth balls, Jeyes Fluid, windmills and yes- talking to them and asking them politely to leave.
The ONLY sure way is with a professionally tuned and set humane kill trap.
Death is almost instantaneous.
It is sad because they are quite cute, but nature sometimes has to be conrolled

If using mole hill spoil in potting mixes, added to compost heaps etc. as advocated in some gardening books,does it have to be sterilised before use because of the risk of passing on listeria?
