Well ive done it,and without any training, well i did run around the park 2 days before the event
Next year i will defo be training for the race.
Very sore legs today
But the lungs managed fine as i have not smoked since 11th march
If any of you ladies out there have not done this race,i recomend that you do.I had a fab day ,but also very emotional, reading the messages on the backs of people is very sad, some of them have lost whole families to cancer, the tears flowed freely as i ran. There was one little girl about 4 or 5 who ran for herself, the brave little thing had cancer as well.
Managed to do the race in 41 mins 39sec,but best of all i have raised nearly £200 towards cancer reserch
and that feels good.
So why not get a pink tu-tu,some pink leg warmers , your running shoes, and enroll in a race in your area
