I have 2 cucumber plants in the greenhouse growing like trifids that are forming small cus.
Is it advisable to remove some of the large lower leaves to help the cus to get more sun to mature as we do with tomatoes, or are they best left alone

Leave the leaves alone. Cucumbers do not need extra light to grow bigger.
