I plan to grow some mushrooms in a wooden box. I have looked in several gardening books but none state whether or not there should be holes drilled into the bottom of the box. Anyone out there have experience either way?

Hi FPG,
I have grown Mushrooms in a bucket which didn't have any holes so this may give you an indication. I cannot sat for sure though.
