My late mother used to do the gardening, with me helping with the heavy work.

My father has never really taken to gardening and to be honest, in a flower garden, I don't know what I am doing and I am only there about once a fortnight.

The garden is mature, mainly shrubs and perennials, but needs maintenance from someone who knows when diofferent plants need attention. My father won't want things changed, but does want it kept in order.

Anyone interested or have a reliable contact?

Thanks for the response OH.
I know that this is not neccesarily the best place to ask but it should be better than a card in the Post Office window (although that is far more local and thus targeted)

Dear Stephen, i would try and find a recommended gardener as there are some real rogues out there.

Sometimes what might seem like paying a little extra, is well worth it for the amount of work achieved and also the quality.

Hope you find a good one.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Dear Stephen,
I asked the two people I had in mind and they are both unavailable for and more work. Sorry.
Regards Sally Wright.
