I would put BLACK plastic flower pots in Room 101. I don't know why I dislike them so much but I do !

RADISHES.
Does anyone still seriously grow these miserable peppery little red things so beloved by slugs? More to the point does anyone eat them?

I'm with Mr T on this one (steady Grock - I know he's yours) and put hoses that kink in Room 101.

Been thanked: 1 time

Annoying watering cans with spouts that are slightly too short so I can't fill the can without it spouting all over the place and usually on my feet!

One of our committee members who has said that I never do anything on my plot anyway so having injured myself will make no difference!!!!!

Mind you, there'll be a queue of people wanting to put him in Room 101, including the rest of the committee!!!!

As for radishes, I grow them and eat them. A quick crop and something for when I get the munchies on the plot. Plus the leaves that I uses in salads.
Lots of love

Lizzie

Plastic pea/bean netting, no matter how carefully you put it away it's always in a tangled mess when you try to use it next (usually on a windy day)

How about any 'new must have' garden gadget that you are bound to get bought by well meaning (non-gardening) relatives next birthday or Christmas - soil scoops and garden claws come to mind :x

Old and rotting carpets on allotments. Such an eye-sore.

Have to agree with pea and bean netting - as I am constantly freeing the dog from it, tripping over it, getting it raveled up in machinery etc I have banned it from the garden.

I agree Fen, the stuff is also not very strong and tears into gaping holes very easily. A good choice.

Not really gardening equipment, but what about those plastic tie thingys that come with the bin-bags in this part of the world? I am forever having to unwind them from the bloody lawnmower and then they somehow crawl into the house and get into the Hoover.
The hours I've spent disentangling the damn stuff when all I wanted to do was a quick mow or vacuum.....having a hot flush just thinking about it.
