I hope someone can help me here . I wish to grow Summer P.S.B., Asparagus kale, Brussel sprouts as well as small cabbages and caulis.
my seed packets don't give heights that the plants are expected to attain, giving me a problem with how much enviromesh I need.
Any advice, please ?

Well grown plants can reach about 1 m, though you can get some dwarf varieties.

Thanks for your replies. I don't know if I've got room for these.

Maybe you could dig a very deep trench and plant them eighteen inches deep. On second thoughts, probably not very practical as they'd then grow tall mand spindly reaching towards the light.
Hi WHR,
It really depends on which brassicas you choose. As Realfood says there are dwarfing varieties although I would describe them as just smaller varieties. With the pointed varieties, Ball Heads and Savoy types you could normally get away with around 2ft but as Geoff says come to some things and you have to double that figure.
My coverings are made up of a series of panels that can be use in conjunction with each other and do a variety of jobs on different crops.
They are all either 6ft or 4ft panels in length but vary from 2ft high to 1 metre in height and they all screw together. Sorry to mix the measurements but my material is 1 metre wide so that is the max height frame that I can make.
JB.
