i stick a lawn sprinkler in one end of the tunnel for half an hour , then do the other end, from now on it will be done once a week, usually sometime over the weekend. if its really hot midsummer it may need doing midweek as well. duration can be varied to suit the weather. i think a good soak once a week is better than frequent dribbles.
