I never spray my fruit trees and have no problems with insects or anything else. The bluetits clear up any grubs to feed their young and there is nothing to harm bees and other beneficial insects that pollinate your fruits.

The only time we spray our fruit trees is over winter with a veg oil spray to control the overwintering leaf curling aphids. Other than that we leave well alone.
