I'm looking fro something to grow on a windowsill -its a really sunny spot. I'm going to film it on our webcam for the website so I need something that will grow fairly quickly but won't get too big. I've never grown radish befor -will it get too hot inside for it? Help!

Hi Vegswap
My "off the top of the head" reaction would be: probably not, but others may have some experience of doing it.
What do you aim to grow in?
If you want something quick, why not try some salad rocket or real cress - both germinate almost instantly if warm.

Thanks. I like the idea of rocket. I was going to grow in a pot of some sort. Would that be okay for rocket?

Sorry about the last post - I am noted for interspersing long rambling replies with the odd one-worder
You might like to have look at this
