Ok, I'm not usually bothered by Gardener's World. But Garden Gnomes, plant theatres. I guess veg just wasn't interesting enough.
Give me a break.

They should do, "Failure to cultivate."
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Weren't you worried about his day job?
To think I had left a pile of old labels soaking in the sink, I could have been doing something productive, mind you the red wine mellowed the experience.
The only good gnome is dead gnome.

Dreadful wasn't it? I can't believe the producers expect us to sit in our armchairs on a Friday night and fall for such rot. If they're so short of material that they have to include that kind of drivel their viewing statistics will pretty soon fall through the basement floor.
I don't watch Gardeners World anymore as it has gradually deteriorated to the point that I can't be bothered with it. You don't see "gardening" , it's just a vehicle for the presenters to be on telly. As for gnomes...I can't bear them. A few years ago, a very dear friend said she had bought my birthday present from a garden centre but it had been rather heavy to get to the car. I was having kittens in case it was a gnome!
It turned out to be a very natural stone squirrel and I almost wept with relief!

Happy with my lot
I don't normally bother with GW anymore either. It's gone right down the wotsit since Mr T left to be honest. At the moment though, being poorly as I am, i'm a captive audience and, on Friday, I didn't have the strength to get the remote and turn the tv over or off (my loving family had popped it on for me whilst I was propped up in bed thinking it's what I wanted bless them)
Then the Gnome thing came on............ I opend one eye, saw what his day job was and thought I was hallucinating again. He hasn't done the police much good on the public relations front has he, the plonker.
Personally, I hate gnomes...........I can settle for one with attitude but I can't publish the pictures on here.............. but generally all gnomes need smashing with a hammer
And the display for auriculas, so what.........if that's your thing than fair enough, but it seems to be catering for the more affluent gardener with more money than sense.

Lizzie, sorry to hear you're not well. Hope you recover soon.
Don't watch too much snooker or you'll start thinking GW isn't bad after all

Thanks for the good wishes Alan......... i'll be fine soon. Got a rather nasty chest infection......... and to think they say stopping smoking is good for you.
Still, feeling a little more human today so it's all to the good
I was subjected to the Everton Man U match this afternoon as i'd made it to the couch today (see, said I was getting better) and it drove me mental. Haven't tried the snooker yet but I quite like snooker. Shame I was ill after the golf had finished. Cos I likes golf. All those nice millionaires bending over in tight trousers.
Would've perked me up no end would that

Plus, it's best this has happend now cos I got a busy summer ahead and need to be on top form for my visitors and my little trip

Dear Lizzie, i have had some good offers this week, and yes i know it's only Tuesday, but i have to confess, none of them are as good as yours.
It would have also been nice to have met the Adams family.
