I couldn't get on the Map of Britain to see what the Humber Estuary area is called. Can anyone enlighten me please? I dread to think, as the Spurn Point area is a strange shape.....cheers!

We get lots of them, I don't know what they call us but I know what we call them!
The factory where I used to work had a large stone tower and they used to come low along the railway line then bank up over us as though they were using the tower as a marker. One day as one climbed away from us its afterburner blew up and showered the site with debris, I still have some bits of titanium. Ironically the only damage was to a pallet load of hose waiting to go to the MOD that was scorched by some hot bits.

From "The Aircrew dictionary", I quote;
"Donkey's dick: (n.) 1. Any coastal prominence. 2. A boom-drogue adapter assembly."

So Alan, pick any sticky out bit of coast you please,
