Clubroot resistant sprouts and broccoli

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Good Afternoon All,

I have noticed more instances of clubroot on my lottie over the last couple of years, this has given me problems trying to grow calabrase and decent sprouts, have any posters tried and tested some clubroot resistant green broccoli or sprouts ?
The clubroot doesnt seem to affect purple sprouting broccoli or kale but I struggle with cabbages, sprouts, calabrase etc.
I have limed my brassica plot this year, improved the drainage by raising the bed and rotated plots in an effort to beat the disease.
My allotment soil is a silty clay.
Cheers,

Hi! Andy,
My allot. is rife with club root and the only resistant veg I have found are Kilaton and Kilaxy cabbages , Clapton caulis.and Marion swedes. I still grow sprouts and calabrese by using heavy doses of lime but I followed a tip in a magazine and I use builders lime and not garden lime as it is supposedly stronger. Calabrese Trixie is suposed to be resistant but mine all suffered.
