swift potatoes

what does it mean by "these have a shorter haulm than other early potatoes so plant closer together 10 inches" will I not have to dig so deep for them :lol:

Dear Mandylew, sorry to disappoint you, but it just means the top growth is not as tall.
So you will still have to dig deep. :)

It also means that you can grow them under cloches for the earliest potatoes, which is what I do.
