Does anyone have an unwanted copy of KG Feb 2008 or know were I can get my hands on one? I have tried back issues from Morton's but of course they are out of the only one I am missing.

I'm to blame for that as my interview with James Martin was in it and I actively encouraged his fans to buy a copy, having secured a few for me first!

I can copy it for you, if the KG Admin folk don't mind me doing that.

I keep a copy on my desk at work at all times Kevin.

Yes that issue sold out rather quickly - we massively underestimated Tiggers popularity, and just didn't order enough copies in.

What I will do is just check here if its ok - then I will put up the PDF's of the original pages from that article on our website, so all can see.

I use this service for my Kitchen Garden subscription as I live in Canada (no decent vegetable gardening magazines) and since it is digital I get the magazine in a timely fashion and at a decent price (no shipping so I'm saving the world too!)

Interesting how you get your KG magazine.
Could be a good source for missing/unavailable copies. And cheaper if anyone is not bothered about having electronic copies only.

I think Canada is approx 8 hrs behind us on the Pacific Coast and 4 hrs behind us on the Atlantic coast, with many variations in between.
Wherever bunuel lives he's probably still in bed right now!

I originally hark from Chelmsford in Essex, but currently live near Vancouver in British Columbia (I married a Canadian), so I am eight hours behind.

The weather here is very similar to the UK (although it has a pretty good record for summers I am happy to say), unlike the highs and lows that you get in the Prairies and Toronto, so the magazine articles are still very relevant to my growing experiences over here.

The reason I asked where you were is to work out the time difference and also my dad lives in Oak Bay, (Vancouver Island).
His wife is Canadian.

Have you had more snow than usual this winter in your location?

that is quite the coincidence as my wife also comes from Oak Bay (originally born in Toronto). Her parents moved to Oak Bay when she was 13 and they still live there; in fact we were there just this weekend.

This winter has been phenomenal for snow, and in fact it is snowing at the moment. The temperatures plunged to approx. -5 for a while back there. I still have some snow on the ground from the big flurries we had back in January.

Whereabouts in Oak Bay do your parents live? Do you get to come out here very often?

Oak Bay is about as close as I can narrow it down, without giving addresses etc.
Dad is an Offshore & Ocean Sailing Instructor and owns the Sailing School in Oak Bay Marina.
I manage to visit him every 3 years.

They have developed their garden with completely native species to Canada! Including the racoons and deer!
