Hi Chantal, and Thanks for your warm welcome. :D Your Avatar cat is cute, and looks a similar colour to one of my cats.

Can I ask a question ?Can you tell me why it is that your posting time is in front of my time? When I look at the front page it says that I posted at 1.46pm but when I sit here replying my post time says 2.46pm and you have posted at 3.11pm,which makes us in some sort of time warp bcause in real life the time is 2.50pm.I am not sure if there is a button I need to press to get the time right!!! :)

Sorry to cause problems on my first day,and many Thanks in advance :)

Hi everyone,I have had a fiddle with it and have put it on GMT which I hope will sort out the problem.I will ask my hubby when he has finished his dinner to see if I have done it right

I must confess that I have occassionaly been a lurker to your site but only just plucked up the courage to join in,and Hello Anne, nice to meet you.It looks like everyone is friendly on here, but I will take your advice and keep my eye on that OH guy.I expect he is a bit of a one with the ladies on here

I am a bit sad at the moment because Punky one of my Guinea Pigs passed away this afternoon so I am a bit out of it at the moment

Dear Smallweed, i'm sorry to hear about Punky, what ever type or size of animal, it's always a sad time when they go. :(

3rd time lucky I guess. I keep trying to reply and it keeps disappearing!

So sorry to hear about Punky. Parting is always very sad.

They all seem a good bunch here - so far!!

Not that I like to grass on anyone, especially as a newcomer, but OH is such a gentleman. He likes to :

"volunteer to warm up anyone that is feeling the cold at this time of the year."

OK Guys - now I have got the time sorted, how do I use the smilies - please?

So- lets see if this submits!

Dear Anne, when you are ready to use a smilie, just click on the one you want and it will appear when you submit your post. :)

Hi OH and Anne,I rescued Punky and Mabel two years ago last February from a family that had lost interest in them.I was their third owner and have always had rabbits as pets but took them both on after the death of Cocoa the third sister in the group.

It has been a huge learning curve but I think I gave them both the best two years of their lives. They even have heat in the shed where they are housed. How many pets get that treatment.Only thing is,I feel guilty now that Mabel is all on her own in the dark, but I don't think I can bring myself to leave the light on all night :|

Thank you both for your kind words and i loof forward to chatting to you some more especially when I get the time sorted out because the instructions I was given earlier by that kind person hasn't worked
